We are excited to announce the creation of endowment for each of our five parishes in honor of Fr. John Haugen on the occassion of his 40th anniversary of ordination. Your gift to this endowment fund will create a permanent legacy of lasting support for your parish. This endowment fund will help alleviate financial worries, allowing our parishes to focus on the true mission of the Church. It will provide the budget predictable cash flows to supplement weekly envelope revenue.
The endowment is professionally managed by The Catholic Foundation of the Archdiocese of Dubuque, which ensures endowment laws are followed. There are gift forms at the back of each parish's church, at the St. Joseph Parish Center and the Emmaus Pastorate office, and at the link below. Please contact Deacon Paul at 563-928-7200 with questions.
An endowment is a fund set aside for the long-term benefit of an organization. The initial and additional funds contributed to an endowment are invested, and a portion is distributed regularly for the purpose of the endowment. Endowments typically are permanent and will generate income for the designated beneficiary forever. It gives your charitable giving eternal life on earth and provides stability now and in the future with an ongoing, regular, and reliable source of income to the beneficiary.
