Upcoming Events

St. Mark Parish in Edgewood is very grateful for all the volunteers who help keep our church beautiful inside and outside all year long!  Please join us at 9:00am on December 10, 12, and 17 as we gradually prepare our church for Christmas.  All ages are welcome!  Many hands make light work!  Thank you!

All women 14 years old and older are invited to join the Sisters in Christ bible study at St. Joseph Parish Center library.  The group will meet Saturday or Sunday morning at 8:30am based on their schedules, for about an hour.  If anyone would like to join or has questions, contact Danielle Becwar at 563-380-4680 or [email protected].  The next two sessions will be on December 15 and  December 28.

Attention students and chaperones interested in attending NCYC 2025!  We invite you to submit a one-page paper explaining why you would like to attend the upcoming trip in November 20-25, 2025 in Indianapolis, IN.  Please email your paper to Lori Keppler at [email protected] by January 1, 2025.  

An information meeting will be held on Sunday, December 15th, after 4:00pm Mass at St. Mary Parish in the Upper Room.  While we have limited details at this time, we will discuss past trips and begin organizing our group.  We will also talk about potential fundraising opportunities.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us as we clean St. Joseph Church in Elkader as we prepare for Christmas!  All are invited to help from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Remember, many hands make light work!

St. Mary Parish's environment committee will decorate for Christmas on Monday, December 23rd at 9:00am.  With no school that day, so this is a great opportunity for kids to get involved in their parish!  All ages are welcome, and many hands will make light work!  Thank you!

The third baptism classes of 2024-2025 will be in February 5, 2025 at 6:00pm at St. Mary's Education Center in Strawberry Point.  All parents requesting baptism for their child are asked to first attend a class.  Please call John Uhal at the St. Joseph Parish Center (563-245-2548) or email him at [email protected] to register.  Preregistration is recommended but not required.  The final class for the academic year will be on May 7, 2025 at 6:00pm at St. Joseph Parish Center in Elkader.
